Extension to a Barn Conversion, North Somerset

A contemporary new Living Room extension designed to improve the client’s connection with their garden and extensive far-reaching views.

The Collar Factory

Built in 1899 by Henry Joseph Van Trump the Collar Factory, alongside two sister factories in Bridgwater, manufactured collars, shirts and other items of clothing. This continued until 1964, after which the building was taken over by Barnicotts, and put into other use. Corbel worked closely alongside both Forward Space and SHAPE Design to advise on the repair scheme and design the extensive new M&E system that would facilitate the state-of-the-art office facility.

Dyrham Park – Money, Maps & Marmalade

Dyrham a grade 1 listed manor house, situated in grade ii* parks and gardens is truly a magnificent building.

Dunster Castle Watermill Tea Room

Situated within the grounds of the Dunster Estate directly adjacent to the river Avill, the Watermill tea room building provided refreshments for visitors to the Castle and surrounding areas.

The Curzon Cinema

Built in 1912 by local entrepreneur Victor Cox, the Curzon Cinema is one of the oldest and longest running cinemas in the country. It’s huge scale and classical style of Architecture make this an imposing building on Clevedon’s skyline.

Iford Manor

The Grade II* listed Cloister sits within the Peto Gardens on the Iford Manor Estate, Freshford just outside the City of Bath. The Peto Gardens take their name from their designer Harold Peto the famous landscape Architect whom bought and resided at the estate until 1933.
